About

I’m Shawna Daigle — a writer, blogger, and speaker who believes God writes the best redemption stories, and mine is proof.

When I was six months old, a drunk driver hit my parents’ car head-on. The impact injured my spinal cord, and my head was moved in such a way that doctors told my family I wouldn’t survive — and if I did, I would never be a functioning member of society. But God had different plans for my life. Against every prediction, I’m here, I’m thriving, and I’ve spent my life learning that God’s strength shows up brightest where the world expects the least.

Living with a disability has given me a different perspective on almost everything — and I’ve come to see that as one of God’s greatest gifts to me. It taught me early that His ways are not our ways, that His timing is worth waiting on, and that surrender isn’t loss. It’s where the real living starts.

Today I write and teach about knowing God deeply and walking with Him daily — what it looks like to trust Him in the waiting, to worship when it’s hard, and to build a life of faith one surrendered day at a time. I share what I’m learning here on the blog, and I love coming alongside churches, women’s groups, and events to encourage people in their own walk with God.

Wherever you find me — this blog, a speaking engagement, or something I’ve written — my prayer is the same: that you leave encouraged, a little more hopeful, and a little more in love with Jesus.

Thanks for being here. I’d love to connect with you.
